1976 ... Introduced Telpar's first Thermal Mini-Printer Product when it acquired the rights to manufacture a line of OEM thermal printer products from Texas Instruments. Telpar developed a professional engineering and manufacturing staff to support these products, and designed these printers into a number of significant OEM applications. This became the foundation for the success of Telpar.
1984...Telpar launched its value-added DISTRIBUTION business by acquiring the distribution rights to the NCR stand-alone printer line.
1986...added the Epson mini-printer line, which included stand-alone printers, mechanisms, and controller boards. Telpar developed a number of successful value-added products to complement the NCR and Epson product lines, including custom controller boards.
1990...merges with larger corporation for increased business opportunities.
1996...acquired Syntest Corporation, a recognized leader in the development and manufacturer of direct thermal printer products and controller electronics.
1997...joins MOORE Corporation, a leading supplier of document-formatted information, print outsourcing and data-based marketing.
1998...Introduced the MTP-600 Modular Thermal Printer for Kiosks featuring Fujitsu mechanisms.
1999...ISO 9001 Certification and released the MTP-1500 Mercury Series Printers using Epson thermal print mechanisms.
2000...Telpar aquires AccuScan, a distributor of Auto ID equipment which positions Telpar as a leading DISTRIBUTOR of Auto ID and POS Products.
2000...Telpar OEM developed the NEW user-friendly, ultra-quiet 8 ˝" Telpar Stealth MTP-2283 Direct Thermal Kiosk Printer and the Fujitsu Powered MTP-2200 Series (2", 3" & 4") Kiosk Printers.
2001...Telpar DISTRIBUTION focuses on "Adding More Value to the Value-Added Reseller" with products and programs like DH II, TST, PST and Telpar's VAR Loyalty Rewards Program.
2001...Telpar OEM announces the Telpar/Epson Powered TGP-2300 Mini-Kiosk and Gaming Printer.
